HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED SLEEP PARALYSIS
You are not alone.
Millions of people wake up unable to move or speak while fully conscious. The experience is often frightening and confusing. Many people do not know what is happening or who to talk to about it.

Sleep paralysis is real, common, and still poorly understood.
WHY WE ARE ASKING
The International Sleep Paralysis Initiative is collecting firsthand information to better understand how people experience sleep paralysis, how fear is shaped by lack of knowledge, and how people interpret these episodes.
Your response helps build reliable data that can inform research, education, and public awareness.
WHAT THE SURVEY ASKS
The survey takes about one minute.
It asks whether you have experienced sleep paralysis, how you felt during the episode, and what you believed was happening at the time. There are no right or wrong answers.
All responses are confidential.
TAKE THE SURVEY
Your experience matters. Your response can help others feel less alone and help move understanding forward.
ABOUT THIS INITIATIVE
This survey is conducted by the International Sleep Paralysis Initiative, a global public education and research effort dedicated to improving understanding of sleep paralysis across cultures and communities.
