SLEEP PARALYSIS: IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE- BLACK OR WHITE, RICH OR POOR

Sleep paralysis is real, and it is more common than most people think. Millions of people around the world wake up unable to move their hands, legs, head, or voice. The body is frozen. The mind is awake. Fear sets in instantly.

It can happen to anyone. Black or white. Asian or Arab. Christian or Muslim. Rich or poor. Young or old. No group is immune. Yet most people never talk about it. They are scared, confused, and often ashamed.

Modern medicine still has no clear answers. Sleep paralysis is not officially classified as a disease, and there is no known cure. Because of that silence, many people turn to spiritualists, religious figures, or nonmedical explanations in search of relief or meaning.

This silence must end.

The International Sleep Paralysis Initiative is building a global conversation to bring sleep paralysis out of the shadows. The goal is simple. Share experiences. Gather real data. Improve understanding. Push research forward. Protect people who suffer in silence.

Your experience matters. Someone can learn from your story. Together, we can move closer to answers.
